Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born South London, England into a mixed family. The mother of her child is English and her father is Nigerian. She was raised in the southern part of London Council Estate. She was a student at The Brit School aged 14. She earned her BA in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While at the school, she was a part-time actor in several stage productions such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting journey began in the series Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. The following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, she was cast as Bambi, the lead role on ITV2's show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). Her credits in theatre comprise Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe debuted in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama program ran at The CW for only two episodes, but it was cancelled. In February of 2011 she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. After being a regular for the initial two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that she would depart the series following her appearance on the first episode from the 3rd season. On the show Salem, she played Tituba in 2014 through the year 2016. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg on June 2012. They both appeared on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as a couple in Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty as well her older siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletes, play baseball during the summer and played hockey in the winter months. Ashley did not walk, but she did dance, so when she was 2 1/2 years old she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley developed a passion for dancing shortly after she joined the Baby Ballet. Ashley continued to compete through high school graduation, with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and much more. All of the major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the honor of "top individualist".
